How to get here

By bus

Bus nos. 9A and 9B: Central station - Laube - Sonnbühlstr. - University
Bus no. 11: Wollmatingen station - University via Buhlenweg

By train

Destination Konstanz central station
At the station take bus no. 9A or 9B to the university.
A taxi stand is located right in front of the central station.

By car

From Stuttgart (approx. 170 km)

Take the A 81 towards Singen. From the motorway junction, Hegau, Konstanz is signposted. Once in Konstanz, follow the signs to the university.

From Munich (approx. 220 km)

Take the A96 towards Lindau. From Sigmarszell take the B31, following signs for Friedrichshafen. In Friedrichshafen continue on the B31 towards Meersburg. In Meersburg follow signs for Konstanz. From the ferry port in Konstanz the road takes you uphill to a set of traffic lights in front of the Allmannsdorf town hall. Turn right at the lights to Mainau. After the second bridge, turn left into the East Uni car park.

From Zurich (approx. 75 km)

Take the N7 motorway towards Kreuzlingen/Konstanz. At the border take signs for Mainau. After the bridge over the River Rhein continue towards Mainau and follow the signs for the university.
Parking is available in car parks on the grounds of the university.
