Application to the Information Engineering study program

General

Admission to the Bachelor’s degree program is subject to the general or subject-related university entrance qualification and may only be embarked at the start of the winter term of the current year.
The application must be handed in by 15 September; however, early application is recommended.

With regard to the Master’s degree program, as well as graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering, graduates with a Diplom or Master’s degree in other subjects from universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of cooperative education (Berufsakadmie) are also admitted.
The closing date for applications is 15 January (for the summer term) and 15 July (for the winter term).

Applications must be handed in by the closing date to the Rector’s Office of the University of Konstanz (D-78457 Konstanz).

Information for foreign student applicants

German student applicants and foreign students who are treated as Germans for educational purposes require the German university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung / HZN) as admission requirement.
Foreign student applicants require a similar and recognized university entrance qualification in order to be approved for the study program.
