Organisation
Department organisation
10 professors and about 70 scientists, almost 300 students, plus system administrators, the student council, secretariats and information on accreditation. This is where you'll find everything you need to know about the organisation of the department.
Organisational bodies
The various committees such as the speaker for the department, student council, doctorate committee, etc. confer and decide issues concerning course programs, the students and examinations. They prepare and develop the foundations for all decisions.
Student Council
The Student Council is the body that represents the students within the department organisation. An active part of the Student Council operates within the bodies of the department and the university.

TeleTeaching
The technical infrastructure of the department includes a teleteaching room.
With the help of video-conference technology, lectures can be telecommunicated and recorded.
The equipment in this room enables us to organise collaborations with other universities and to catch up on lectures.
International office
The international office of the University of Konstanz offers, amongst other things, advice for German students and scientists on stays abroad and advisory and support services for foreign students. The international office is available to students for the duration of their stay in Konstanz. The contact person for ERASMUS students is our student advisor.
