Abstract

A key goal of computer vision is to recover information about a 3D scene from sparsely distributed and imperfect images. In my talk, I will consider different types of this inverse problem for a variety of sensing modalities and reconstruction objectives. In particular, I will give an overview of our reserach on variational methods and deep learning for light field imaging and analysis, spatio-temporal scene reconstruction, real-time sensor fusion and tracking.
